New ‘Best Of’ album to be released on 4th February 2022 followed by UK & European Tour!
“I’ve been luckier than most. I get to sing songs to people and they almost always applaud. I have a lot of dogs - the ultimate benchmark of success. So when asked what to call this collection I thought of Charmed Life. I like the song and it rather sums up how I feel about my life.”
We proudly present ‘Charmed Life – The Best Of The Divine Comedy’, a career-spanning 24 track collection of hit singles and fan favourites including National Express, Something For The Weekend, Songs Of Love, Our Mutual Friend, A Lady Of A Certain Age, To The Rescue and Norman And Norma. It also features a brand new track: The Best Mistakes.
‘Charmed Life’ will be available as a 2CD set, a deluxe triple CD set, on double heavyweight black vinyl, limited edition double heavyweight coloured vinyl and digitally. All vinyl editions are housed in a gatefold sleeve and come with a download card for the 'Best Of' album and bonus volume.
The standard edition is an ideal starting point for those wishing to explore the lush musical tapestry of the band, while the deluxe 3CD edition adds a ‘Super Extra Bonus Album’ full of new and unreleased recordings which is perfect for the seasoned fan!
We are thrilled to announce a full European and UK tour between March and May 2022. Neil says:
“I am so looking forward to playing live again. The last couple of years have been a reminder of how much it means to me personally. It really is my favourite thing. And it seems fitting that we’ll be coming back with a greatest hits* set. You know, in case everyone’s forgotten who I am and what we do!”
Tickets for the UK and Ireland shows go on general sale from 10am Friday 10th September. Tickets for the European leg will be available from 11am CEST on Friday 17th September with no fan pre-sale. Dates in Spain will be announced later in the year!

European fans will also be able to buy the album from our all new PIAS store
which is located outside of the UK. This store will also carry the
signed lyric print for bundle purchases but does not allow access to the
UK ticket pre-sale.
