"Join us for a special edition of Classical Connections for St. Patrick's Day as John Toal sits down with singer, songwriter and composer Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy in conversation about his musical life. Featuring performances of two of his works, the first for string, organ and chorus - "To Our Fathers In Distress" - featuring The Ulster Orchestra and The Ulster Consort, conducted by Matthew Owens, and the broadcast premiere of a newly commissioned work "As The Sun Brightens, The Shadows Deepen" inspired by spoken words by his father, The Ulster Orchestra are under the baton of David Brophy."
