Hear Neil on their Festive Roadshow!

From 1-4pm (UK)
BBC Radio 6Music

Set your dial to 6Music and join in the fun with Radcliffe and Maconie's Festive Roadshow. This year it's beamed live to your radio from the historic city of York and features a cornucopia of fine entertainment:

"Broadcasting from their special radio grotto based somewhere within the Christmas Markets, they'll be joined by the likes of Maximo Park's Paul Smith, Heaven 17's Glenn Gregory, writer Kate Atkinson (whose debut best-selling novel Behind the Scenes at The Museum was based in York), Shed Seven singer and York music scene stalwart Rick Witter, plus live music from folk singer Eliza Carthy and melodian player Saul Rose, and The Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon, and art-rock brothers David and Peter Brewis of Field Music drop by to sing us a festive tune with their 4-part harmony folky popster backing band The Cornshed Sisters. Plus there'll be visitors in Viking form from the Jorvik Viking Centre and someone on hand to tell us all about York's marvellous chocolate factory. All this - and the usual festive gubbins from Mark and Stuart - to bring a sprinkle of musical festive cheer to your radio."

You can listen live online at the 6Music website and the show will be available on the BBC iPlayer after broadcast.
